Advice for Road Runners: The Saucony Men's Endorphin Pro 4 Running Shoes are premium racing shoes. Fast and light, providing high levels of cushioning and energy return.

Underfoot Feel

The Endorphin Pro 4 should feel well-cushioned and fast.

In comparison to the Endorphin Pro 3, there is a big change. The top layer of the midsole is a new foam: PWRRUN HG. This new foam is very light and provides superior energy return.

The bottom layer of foam is the highly successful PWRRUN PB. This has been successful due to its low weight and high energy return.

A carbon fibre plate is sandwiched between the two layers of foam. The plate helps to create propulsion. However, it does not do all the work; the foams are important too.

A new Super Responsive Sockliner further enhances the feeling of highly energised cushioning.

The outsole rubber is ultra thin. It is there to provide traction and durability where it is most needed; nothing more.

Upper Fit

The upper is has a supportive collar lining for a secure fit. 

The single layer mesh with attached tongue provides an airy, breathable sock-like feel. Exactly what's required when you want to go fast on race day.

Ideal Run Type

The Saucony Men's Endorphin Pro 4 Running Shoes are best for road races over distances from the 5K to the marathon. To get the best out of these carbon fibre plated running shoes, we recommend keeping them for race day. However, it would be sensible to ensure you get used to the shoes by using them for some of your faster training sessions.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
